Derrick's father Ray created this beautiful piece of the ocean by hand for his son. The center piece with Kipuka written is Derrick's urn and resting place in the Santos Family home.
On Saturday June 19, 2010 at 7:37 pm our son Derrick passed away at a San Jose hospital. Derrick was riding his bike with his club in King City on their way home Derrick hit a pot hole in the road and would still be alive until and car hit and ran over him this was a hit and run. Derrick died from internal bledding. On July 5 was his cremation. God wanted him now, he set him free. All of us lost a great man. All of us have your soul and the love you gave to all.
